Newcastle Utd Slovakia Defender Provides The Lowdown On Chelsea's Abraham, England Squad

Newcastle United defender Ľubomír šatka has provided the lowdown on the England team ahead of Slovakia's meeting with the Young Lions in the European U21 Championship on Monday.

Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse has more than 130 games in the Premier League under his belt, English-born Nigerian striker Tammy Abraham netted 23 goals last term and Nathan Redmond is participating in his third U21 EURO.

''Majority of the players know, I lived there, they are all in the spotlight, they have quality, they play in the Premier League or Championship, but we have the quality too," said šatka to teraz.sk.

''Tammy Abraham scored 23 goals in the Championship, James Ward-Prowse is in the Premier League, Nathan Redmond is playing in his third championship for U21s.''

Abraham was one of the most impressive players as England were held to a goalless draw in their opener against Sweden last Friday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Dominic Iorfa is the other player of Nigerian descent in the England squad.
