Versatile 'Nigerian Dani Alves' Happy To Play At Right Back For Manchester United
Published: June 19, 2017
United States youth international Matthew Olosunde is willing to play as a right wing-back for Europa League winners Manchester United.
The versatile Olosunde has played as a central defender, right fullback and defensive midfielder over the course of his young career, but reckons that wing-back is his favourite position.
''I was happy with the way I was playing and happy with the position I'm in, I'm enjoying my football and enjoying things off the field too,'' Olosunde told manutd.com.
"I feel really comfortable at right-back and have done pretty well.
''I feel like I know my surroundings and have my bearings so I feel good when I'm out with the players on the pitch.''
The 19-year-old Olosunde, who has been dubbed the Next Dani Alves, is vacationing in New Jersey, United States ahead of the start of pre-season in the first week of July.
