Ipswich Town On Brink Of Deal For Ex-Cardiff City, Norwich Midfielder Tom Adeyemi
Published: June 30, 2017
EFL Championship outfit Ipswich Town are eyeing up a summer move for Tom Adeyemi.
BBC Radio Suffolk is reporting that The Blues are far ahead of Norwich City in the race for the former Cardiff City midfielder.
Adeyemi was with the Bluebirds for three years and made 23 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
The 25-year-old had two successful loan spells at Leeds United and Rotherham United while on the books of Cardiff City, and previously represented Bradford City, Oldham Athletic and Brentford on loan during his time at Norwich.
Born in Milton Keynes, Adeyemi can turn out for Nigeria without applying to Fifa for a one-time switch as he has no caps for England at any level.
