Leicester City YPOTY Ndidi Announces Date He Will Return For Pre-Season
Published: July 05, 2017Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria national-teamer Wilfred Ndidi will resume pre-season training at Premier League club Leicester City on Saturday, July 8.
Fourteen Leicester City first-teamers reported back to the club on Monday and Ndidi was among the notable absentees at Belvoir Drive.
The former Racing Genk midfielder is expected to be in the Foxes traveling party for their training camp in Austria, where they will spend six days.
Ahead of their opening fixture in the Premier League, Leicester City have lined up friendlies against West Brom, Liverpool or Crystal Palace (Premier League Asia Trophy), Luton, MK Dons, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burton Albion and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Ndidi, who is the current Leicester City Young Player of the Year, played 23 games in all competitions for the club last season, scoring three goals.
