New Paul Pogba Shows Commitment By Reporting For Liverpool Pre-Season Training
Published: July 06, 2017
Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria has proved he is committed to Liverpool ahead of the start of the new season after reporting at Melwood for pre-season training.
The central midfielder helped England U20s secure their first Fifa U20 World Cup last month, and was expected to resume training at a later date due to his international commitments at the end of last season.
Ejaria was pictured by the Liverpool photographers training at Melwood on Thursday, along with two players of Nigerian descent Sheyi Ojo and Dominic Solanke.
Dubbed the new Paul Pogba by the Reds faithful, Ejaria will be hoping to impress manager Jürgen Klopp during pre-season, just as he did around this time last year.
The 19-year-old, who joined Liverpool in 2014, played eight games for the first team last season, and made his debut in the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup in the process.
