Omeruo In Line To Make Chelsea First Team Debut After Five Years Against Red Devils
Published: July 07, 2017
Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo is in line to make his debut for the first team of Chelsea after spending more than five years at the London club.
Chelsea will face Crawley Town in a pre-season friendly at the Checkatrade Stadium on Saturday, July 15, and a source close to the Premier League club has hinted that they will most likely field the loan players, who have resumed training.
Chelsea Youth tweeted: '' Chelsea's friendly away to Crawley on July 15th will feature the loan group; how many of them are left at that point is another matter...''
Omeruo has played once before for Chelsea U23 squad, in their 3-3 draw with West Ham in a Premier League 2 fixture in the 2013-2014 season.
The central defender has enjoyed loan spells at ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough FC, Aytemiz Alanyaspor and Kasimpasa.
