Nigerian Defender Aina: Chelsea's Display Vs Man Utd Best Of The Season
Published: July 09, 2017
Super Eagles target Ola Aina reckons that Chelsea display at Stamford Bridge on October 23, 2016 was their best performance in the Premier League during the 2016-2017 season.
The former England U19 skipper watched proceedings from the bench as Antonio Conte's side thrashed the Red Devils 4-0, with Pedro, Cahill, Hazard and Kante registering their names on the score-sheet.
''I would say the 4-0 win against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge,'' Aina told Chelsea's official website.
''It was a great performance from the boys and to do it against a top side made it even more memorable.''
Asked to pick his favourite goal, Aina replied : ''My favourite goal would have to be Michy’s at West Brom because it won us the league, simple as that.''
Right wing-back Aina made Chelsea's match day squads eleven times last season, and featured off the bench in three matches.
