Golden Ball Winner Of Nigerian Descent Is Liverpool's Second Fittest Player

England U20 international of Nigerian parentage Dominic Solanke is among the fittest players at Liverpool during pre-season training.
The Reds first-teamers, including Solanke, Roberto Firmino, Lucas Leiva, Joel Matic, Solanke, James Milner and Jordan Henderson, underwent a lactic acid test to determine their fitness.
Ex-Chelsea wonderkid Solanke finished second in the tests, behind the versatile midfielder James Milner.
The 19-year-old is officially the best Under 20 player on the planet after winning the Golden Ball at this summer's Fifa U20 World Cup, and played a key role in England's success in South Korea.
It is thought Liverpool have not yet re-confirmed the signing of Solanke from Chelsea because the training compensation has not been calculated by a tribunal.
