Chelsea Boss Conte: No Replacement For Moses, He'll Play Against Arsenal
Published: August 04, 2017
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte had reconfirmed that Victor Moses is eligible to be fielded for the Community Shield clash with Arsenal at the National Stadium, London on Sunday, August 6.
The Italian gaffer even went as far as saying that the Nigeria international will start against the Gunners as his right wing-back options are slim.
''I think it is right to go game by game. On Sunday he will play against Arsenal, I am glad I can count on him,'' Conte said at Friday's press conference.
''Against Burnley I will have 6 days to find the right solution. At the moment we don’t have a replacement for Moses.''
Moses picked up a red card in the Blues last competitive match of the 2016-2017 campaign, but will serve his suspension against Burnely in the first round of the Premier League.
