Manchester United versatile defender Lee O'Connor scored a potential goal-of-the-tournament and club's Goal of the Month contender as the U19 squad defeated Brazilian outfit Cruzeiro 2-0 in the Otten Cup on Friday.
The Red Devils captain for the tournament started the run from his own half, went past at least five defenders and volleyed home a rebound after the goalkeeper had saved his initial effort.
Lee O'Connor has grown leaps and bounds since his arrival at the Old Trafford outfit in the summer of the 2016 from Villa FC.
And the highlight of his season on a personal level was his nomination for the Youth Team Player of the Year accolade, which was eventually won by England U17 captain Angel Gomes.
