Manchester United Lose Third Straight Game In The Netherlands To Anderlecht

Manchester United U19 side lost 2-0 to Belgian club R.S.C. Anderlecht in the fifth-sixth playoff match at the Otten Cup in the Netherlands on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils finished third in Group A, losing to Borussia Mönchengladbach and Inter Milan, to set up a meeting with Anderlecht.
The Belgian club led 1-0 at the break after a looping header beat Moutha-Sebaoui in the seventh minute.
A goalkeeping error by Thompson allowed the Belgians to double the advantage in the 47th minute, he failed to get proper contact on the ball after a free-kick and Luxembourg U19 international Loris Tinelli blasted home.
Manchester United reached the final of the Otten Cup in 2016 but lost on penalties to Anderlecht.
