Barcelona Officials In England To Complete Negotiations For Liverpool Star
Published: August 08, 2017
Barcelona are hoping to wrap up a deal for Brazil international Philippe Coutinho, despite Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp making it crystal clear he is not for sale.
Spanish sports daily Marca is reporting that Barcelona club officials are already in England with the intention of negotiating his sale from Liverpool.
The Spanish powerhouse will test Liverpool's resolve to hold onto their star player with an offer in the region of 100 million euros.
Coutinho is seen as an ideal replacement for Neymar, who has moved to Paris Saint-Germain, though other players Paulo Dybala, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann have also been contacted.
Barcelona are ready to include Andre Gomes or Rafinha as makeweight in the deal taking Coutinho to the Camp Nou.
