Details Of Chelsea Training Session : Moses, Tomori With Non-Bib Team, Five Defenders Likely To Start, Remy Absent
Published: August 10, 2017
Defending champions Chelsea held their penultimate training session on Thursday ahead of their first game in the Premier League against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
There is a question mark over the availability of France international Loïc Rémy and Lewis Baker for the fixture with the Clarets as both were not sighted at the training ground, the England youth-teamer is close to a move to Middlesbrough.
But another player heavily linked with a temporary departure from Stamford Bridge, Kenedy, trained with the first team, along with the teenagers Conor Gallagher and Isaac Christie-Davies.
Chelsea expert CarefreeYouth who watched the training session told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Training involved a few running and stretching drills at first with everyone involved.
''Then they had two small games of piggy in the middle, then went into a 11v 11 game.
''Victor Moses was not in the team wearing bibs as he is suspended, Tomori was also in the non bib team.
''The defenders wearing bibs were Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Cahill and Alonso.''
Ignoring their form in pre-season and the Community Shield, the odds favour a Chelsea win as they have recorded 13 victories in their last 15 games on the opening day of the season.
