Transfer Now In Doubt As Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal Target Tears Hamstring
Published: August 16, 2017
The exit of England international of Nigerian parentage Ross Barkley from Everton before the close of the transfer window is now doubtful.
The attacking midfielder is expected to spend up to six weeks on the sidelines after suffering a torn hamstring while training with The Toffees first team.
Barkley had resumed full training after picking up a groin injury, before this latest setback.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hostpur have been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, who has refused to extend his contract with Everton and has less than one year left on his current deal.
A price tag of 50 million pounds has been placed on Ross Barkley by Everton.
