(Photo Confirmation) Nigerian Federation Hold Talks With Tammy & Timmy Abraham
Published: September 21, 2017
The Nigerian Federation have set the wheels in motion in their bid to convince Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham to represent the Super Eagles ahead of the Three Lions in the near future.
If the photos published by the local football governing body are anything to go by, Tammy's brother Timmy Abraham, who plays for Fulham U18s, has also been approached to represent Nigeria.
Timmy's case is a much more straightforward thing for the simple reason that he has not played competitively for England's youth teams, and the Nigerian Federation don't have to contact Fifa for a change of association.
''Most recently, there was a meeting with Tammy, which Tammy’s agent, Neil Fewills also attended,'' NFF supremo Amaju Pinnick told thenff.com.
''It was a useful meeting, and I can say the talks are at an appreciable level now and all is looking good.
''Tammy is like a son to me, because his father was my childhood friend. I believe he is a good prospect for the Super Eagles and the effort is well worth it.''
Tammy Abraham is regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in England and presently represents the Young Lions at U21 level.
