Tammy Abraham : Swansea City Are Better Than What They Are Showing
Published: September 24, 2017
Nigeria Football Federation target Tammy Abraham believes Swansea City's recent results in the Premier League are not a true reflection of the qualities they possess.
The Welsh side are one point above the relegation zone after losing their third game of the season to Watford on Saturday afternoon, despite the Chelsea loanee scoring his third goal of the season after coming off the bench.
''We did well to get back into the game and levelled things up, but we conceded in the last minute which was a big downer for us,'' Abraham told Swansea City's official website.
''We felt we could go on and win the game when we equalised. We went all out to win but lost the ball on the counter attack.
''We know we are better than what we are showing and we need to pick ourselves up.
''We have more games to put things right. Now we have to go to West Ham and fight for the win.''
Abraham's goal in the 56 minute against Watford was his 29th goal at club level since he turned professional.
