Ex-CSKA Star : Powerful Aaron Samuel Must Start Against Manchester United
Published: September 27, 2017
Former CSKA Moscow defender Dmitri Gradilenko has advised manager Viktor Goncharenko to name Aaron Samuel in the starting line-up for tonight's Champions League clash against Manchester United at VEB Arena.
Gradilenko says the Nigeria international is a powerful striker, good in hold-up play, and will be a real handful for Manchester United defenders if selected.
''Today CSKA will give the fight to Manchester United. I think that Goncharenko will choose defensive tactics,'' Goncharenko told championat.com.
''In the attack Olanare must start, because he has the dimensions and the power that will help him to resist the defense of Manchester United.
''Against the English you have to hold on to the ball, which the Nigerian striker can do''.
Aaron Samuel started CSKA Moscow's match day one tie at Benfica, and was replaced after 67 minutes.
