Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa has been named to a Premier League XI for the shortest players in the English top-flight by Sky Sports.
Manager Gordon Strachan has blamed Scotland’s World Cup qualifying exit on the nation’s footballers being genetically small, and the British television sports brand compiled a list of shortest and tallest combined Premier League XIs.
At 171cm, Musa led the frontline along with Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe, who is the same height as the Nigerian.
The Super Eagles star is 8cm taller than the the shortest player in the Premier League, Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.
