Chelsea Tell Frustrated Midfielder : Borrow A Leaf Out Of Abraham's Book
Published: October 11, 2017
Premier League champions Chelsea have informed Belgium U21 star Charly Musonda to borrow a leaf out of Tammy Abraham's book, following his latest social media outburst, according to reports.
The talented Musonda, son of former Zambia international Charles Musonda, has been left frustrated over his lack of playing opportunities since he joined the club, having made only three appearances for the first team.
The 21-year-old has been told to look at the examples of Andreas Christensen, Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek for a pathway into the Premier League champions' first team, according to the Mirror.
''You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what's expected, and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should. And what do you get back? Literally nothing... done,'' Musonda posted on Instagram but deleted the message on Tuesday.
''However, with this being said I will continue with same dedication and commitment to this great game.''
Abraham is working his way into Chelsea's first-team considerations after starring at Bristol City last season, and has not done badly since he joined Swansea City on loan before the start of the 2017-2018 campaign.
The England U21 star has recorded two appearances for Chelsea's first team, both coming in the 2015-16 season against Liverpool and Leicester City in the Premier League.
