Fulham Starlet Of Nigerian Descent Trains With Abraham In England Men's Senior
Published: November 09, 2017
England manager Gareth Southgate selected highly-rated Fulham midfielder Tayo Edun to train with the England senior national team on Thursday, November 9.
The English Football Association have informed via the social networks that Young Lions duo Tayo Edun and Jay Dasilva are training with the Three Lions today, while Gary Cahill sits the session out.
It means Edun worked out with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham at the national football center, St George's Park, this morning.
The 19-year-old has been named in the England U20 squad for the friendly against Germany at Stadion Zwickau on November 14, and Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo is also set to travel with the team next week.
Born in Islington, England, Tayo Edun has racked up appearances for England U17, U18, U19 and U20 squads.
Tammy Abraham could make his senior England debut against Brazil or Germany but won't be cap-tied to the Europeans since both games are non-competitive in the eyes of Fifa.
Liverpool wonderkid Dominic Solanke was invited to train with England Men's senior in May 2015.
