STANLEY OKORO replaces AKPALA for Madagascar Nigeria wonder kid Stanley Okoro hopes to get his first full cap against Madagascar next weekend. The NFF has reacted quickly by handing him a call up as a replacement for the Club Brugge player Joseph Akpala who has been ruled out of action for eight weeks.

Stanley Okoro was unveiled as an Almeria player this summer and the coach Juan Manuel Lillo has promised to alternate him between the main squad and the reserve side this season.

''Coach Eguavoen has invited Okoro in place of injured Joseph Akpala for next weekend's Nations Cup qualifier against Madagascar in Abuja,"  Robinson Okosun, spokesman of the NFF disclosed in a statement.
