Conte Confirms Victor Moses, Three Offensive Players Will Miss Qarabag-Chelsea
Published: November 21, 2017
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has confirmed that Victor Moses is not available for selection for Wednesday evening's Champions League meeting at Qarabağ FK.
Allnigeriasoccer.com earlier reported that the Nigeria Player of the Year was not in the Premier League champions traveling party to Baku on Monday and Conte confirmed as much at the pre-match press conference.
''Hazard is fit. Batshuayi and Moses are not available for the game. Kenedy also and Musonda," Conte said.
"Kenedy had a little muscular problem. But I think he's very close to be back with us."
Moses, 26, has missed the last seven games played by Chelsea in all competitions due to a hamstring complaint but is expected to return to action as from Saturday when the Blues visit Anfield for a Premier League match against Liverpool.
The Nigeria international has played only one match in the Champions League this season, against Atlético Madrid on September 27.
