Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Nigerian midfielder Vincent Onovo has bid farewell to Finnish Veikkausliiga champions HJK Helsinki.
Only an official announcement is being awaited from HJK as Onovo's contract with the club still has five days remaining before he can walk away as a free agent.
Onovo joined HJK in January 2016 and is credited with 4 goals (3 assists) in 45 appearances for the club.
Having refused to extend his stay at the capital outfit, it is understood that the 21-year-old is studying offers from interested clubs and he will sort out his future in the next two weeks.
He played a significant role in helping Nigeria internationals Taye Taiwo and Nnamdi Oduamadi settle into their new surroundings when they joined HJK.
Onovo started off his career in Finland with Inter Turku, for whom he scored 11 goals in 56 appearances.
