Two Goals Apiece For Young Nigerian Duo As Arsenal Beat Tottenham Again
Published: November 25, 2017
Three players of Nigerian descent Tobi Omole, Xavier Amaechi and Bukayo Saka were on parade from the very beginning of the game in Arsenal's 6-0 demolition of Tottenham Hotspur in the U18 Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The comprehensive win comes exactly one week after the Gunners first team beat Tottenham in the Premier League.
Saka opened the scoring in the 18th minute, before Amaechi made it 3-0 fourteen minutes to half-time.
But there was still one more goal in the opening period, with Saka grabbing his brace in the 39th minute.
Xavier Amaechi, who is expected to sign his first professional contract at Arsenal in the next six weeks, added more gloss to the scoreline when he made it 6-0 midway through the second half.
James Olayinka and goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi were non-playing substitutes for Arsenal and Spurs respectively.
