Chelsea 1 Liverpool 3: Ovie Ejaria, Bobby Adekanye Star For The Reds
Published: November 25, 2017Liverpool maintained their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League 2 after an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea at Cobham Training Center on Saturday afternoon.
England U20 star Ovie Ejaria started his seventh straight game in the league and he was later joined on the pitch by teammate Bobby Adekanye, who entered into the fray in the 79th minute.
Liverpool took the lead through Harry Wilson in the sixth minute, only for Hudson-Odoi to equalize for the home team in spectacular fashion.
The England U17 star scored a sensational individual goal, he went on a jinking run past three defenders and goalkeeper Kelleher before slotting the ball into an empty net.
Four minutes to the end of the first-half, Ben Woodburn restored Liverpool's one-goal advantage and Wilson made the points safe with 19 minutes remaining by netting his second goal.
Ovie Ejaria received his third caution of the season in the 64th minute.
Liverpool, who have 27 points from 11 matches, return to action on Tuesday with a Premier League International Cup match against Sparta Prague.
