Conte Backing Abraham To Break Into Chelsea First Team
Published: November 28, 2017
The Blues higher-ups have offered the Nigeria Football Federation target an opportunity to grow and learn by loaning him out to Swansea City for the whole of the 2017-2018 campaign.
''I think to talk about Tammy now is very, very soon. For sure we are talking about a young player with a really good prospect for Chelsea’s future,'' said Conte at Tuesday's press conference, according to Football.London.
''To go on loan was the best decision for him and the club. He is playing regularly and getting good experience.''
As previously reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Abraham is not eligible to face his primary employer when Swansea City visit Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old is Swansea City's leading scorer this season, with 5 goals to his name in all competitions.
