Nigerian Defender Ruled Out Of Manchester United-Manchester City Derby
Published: December 10, 2017
The center back has been left out of the Citizens provisional squad list, meaning he will not make his Premier League debut against the Red Devils, barring a last-minute change of mind by manager Pep Guardiola.
Adarabioyo's defensive partners in City's 2-1 loss to FC Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League last week in the shape of Fernandinho and Eliaquim Mangala have been named in the 19-man provisional squad-list.
The 20-year-old caught the eye for his solid performance against the Ukrainian outfit, so much so that he was one of the players singled out for special praise by Guardiola.
As for Manchester United, young duo Tosin Kehinde and Matthew Olosunde will also not make their Premier League debuts having been omitted from the provisional roster.
