Published: December 13, 2017
Talented Irish-born Nigerian striker Adam Idah netted a ten-minute hat-trick to help Norwich City come from behind to beat Barnsley 4-1 in the third round of the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday.
The young Canaries were trailing 1-0 at half-time but the game turned on its head in the second stanza, with the Republic of Ireland U18 star scoring in the 58th, 63rd and 68th minutes.
Adam Idah was delighted with his maiden hat-trick at Carrow Road in a big tournament for youth teams in England.
He told canaries.co.uk : ''It's my first hat-trick for the club on my first appearance at Carrow Road. I'm delighted about that.
"I was playing locally back in Ireland and one of the scouts came to watch me. I think I scored a hat-trick in that game, came over here on trial and scored a hat-trick against Peterborough.
"I scored a hat-trick recently against Azerbaijan too so hopefully I can keep going! Once I score one, I get more confident."
