Noah Bazee Returns To Action After Eight-Month Injury Lay-Off
Published: December 14, 2017
Super Eagles hopeful Noah Sarenren-Bazee made his first appearance for Hannover in over eight months in their 3-1 loss to Hertha BSC at the Olympiastadion (Berlin) on Wednesday night.
The winger had been suffering from a chronic knee injury since March which prevented him from making his debut for the Super Eagles in their 1-1 draw with Senegal at the Hive Stadium.
Bazee featured for the first time this season when he was introduced at half-time with his team trailing 2-0, and received a caution five minutes later.
Any lingering hopes of a Hannover comeback were extinguished when Germany U20 star of Nigerian descent Jordan Torunarigha restored Hertha BSC's two-goal lead.
Born in Stadthagen, Germany, Bazee is eligible to represent the Super Eagles through his father.
