EPL Wrap: Moses New Milestone; Ndidi Sees Red; Iwobi Injured; Success, Ladapo & Tosin Not In 18

A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective
clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, December 16.
Nigerian players with dual nationalities that have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.
In the early kickoff, Leicester City's four-match unbeaten run came to an end after they were beaten 3-0 by Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium, with Wilfred Ndidi making his 18th consecutive start for the Foxes.
The number 25 took the walk of shame in the 61st minute, teammate Kelechi Iheanacho was a non-playing substitute and Ahmed Musa was not in the 18. The Eagles young striker Freddie Ladapo didn't make the match day squad.
At the Emirates Stadium, Alex Iwobi started but had to be substituted in the 72nd minute due to injury, as Arsenal returned to winning ways by beating Newcastle United 1-0.
German playmaker Mesut Oezil lashed home an unstoppable volley in the 23 minute to secure three points for Arsene Wenger's team.
Over to Stamford Bridge, it ended 1-0 Chelsea against Southampton, with Victor Moses reaching a new milestone, his 50th start for The Blues in the Premier League.
A free-kick goal from Marcos Alonso in the third minute of first-half stoppage time was enough to earn the defending champs three points. Moses subbed out on 82 minutes.
Former Golden Eaglets star Isaac Success was omitted from Watford's match day squad versus Huddersfield Town at the Vic. Teammate Stefano Okaka made a rare appearance for the Hornets after coming off the bench in the 82nd minute.
It finished 4-1 in favour of the visitors. Kachunga, Mooy, Depoitre scored to give Huddersfield a 3-0 lead, Doucouré made it 3-1 before Mooy grabbed his brace from the penalty spot in the closing minutes.
