Ndidi Issues Rallying Cry To Leicester Teammates Ahead Of Trip To Liverpool
Published: December 27, 2017
Wilfred Ndidi was disappointed at Leicester City's 2-1 loss to Watford on Boxing Day, in which he started his nineteenth straight game in the Premier League.
Exactly two weeks ago, the Foxes had won their fourth game in a row against Southampton but in a reversal of fortunes there has been a dip in form in recent weeks, after they suffered their third loss in four matches in all competitions against the Hornets.
''It is very disappointing to lose this game but we will focus on the other games,'' Ndidi told lcfc.com.
''We had so many chances in the first half which could have sealed it but we'll work hard now.
''If we would have sealed the game in the first half, it would have given us the confidence to carry the game along.
''After their equaliser, it made them come and it gave them more confidence to play.''
Ndidi and his Leicester City teammates travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool in their next Premier League game on Saturday, December 30.
