Done Deal: Talented Goalkeeper Extends Contract With Chelsea
Published: January 05, 2018
Talented young goalkeeper Nathan Baxter has extended his contract with Premier League champions Chelsea.
Chelsea TV's Lee Parker has informed that Baxter has inked a new deal tying him to the Stamford Bridge outfit until June 30, 2020.
He signed his first professional contract with Chelsea in June 2016, and the agreement would have expired at the end of this season if he didn't prolong his stay.
In the past eighteen months, Baxter has enjoyed loan spells at Metropolitan Police and Solihull Moors, and most recently Woking, whom he joined last summer.
This season, he has posted five shutouts for Woking from 26 appearances in all competitions, and has conceded 41 goals.
The 19-year-old Baxter has been with Chelsea since the U8 age group.
