Super Eagles young defender Ola Aina celebrated his first senior goal for Hull City in their 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, January 6.
Named in the starting line-up in his favorite right back position, the Chelsea loanee repaid his manager's faith by scoring his first professional goal in the 58th minute.
Aina put an end to a thirty-match and 2,417 minutes goal drought with his headed goal against an in-form Blackburn Rovers.
''Delighted with our FA Cup win, buzzing to have got my first senior goal! Onto the next round 🔸▪#hcafc,'' Aina posted on social media after the game at Ewood Park.
Before yesterday's meeting, the Chelsea Academy product had provided two assists in Championship games against Burton Albion and Birmingham City.
Aina, 21, has notched 3 goals in 121 appearances for the youth teams of Chelsea since he debuted for their U18 team in the 2012-2013 season.
