Nigeria Target Ovie Ejaria Shortlisted For Liverpool Goal Of The Month

Nigeria Football Federation target Ovie Ejaria has been handed a chance to win Liverpool's Goal of the Month prize for January 2018 after he was nominated for the accolade on Friday morning.
The central midfielder's wonder goal against Derby County on Sunday is one of the ten finest goals scored by a Liverpool player across all levels last month.
The technically gifted Ejaria embarked on a solo run inside the opponents 18 yard box before firing the ball into the far corner in the 87th minute.
The other nominees include : Sadio Mane (2), Virgil van Dijk, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firmino (3), Mohamed Salah and Emre Can.
This is the second time this season that the England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder has been nominated for Liverpool's Goal of the Month, having finished joint-fifth in the Goal of the Month poll for November 2017.
Ejaria joined Championship outfit Sunderland on transfer deadline day and is in line to make his debut this weekend against Ipswich Town.
