Why Victor Moses, Chelsea Stars Were Given Three Days Off? Conte Replies

Speaking at a press conference on Friday afternoon, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has provided reasons for giving Victor Moses and other first-teamers three days off in the wake of his side's 4-1 loss to Watford in the Premier League on Monday.
The Blues are still competing on three fronts - Premier League, Emirates FA Cup and Champions League - and the Italian has stated that the break enabled the players to recharge their batteries ahead of upcoming fixtures.
''I think it was the only moment in the whole season to give them a bit of rest. For this reason,'' Conte said.
''I think in the future it will be very important to have a little space and room with the federation to give a bit of room for the players.
''When you play a lot of games, especially when you go through in the competitions. We are playing in the FA Cup and two games against Norwich, then CL and the league.
''A bit of rest for the players, not just mine, but in general is important.''
Moses, who resumed training with the Premier League champions on Friday morning, has played 23 games in all competitions this season despite spending more than six weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring complaint.
