Vincent Enyeama has heaped praise on Manchester United netminder David de Gea following his heroics in the Champions League meeting vs Sevilla on Wednesday night at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
The Spain international made eight saves against the La Liga outfit, the most by a Manchester United goalkeeper since Dutchman Edwin van der Sar achieved a similar feat against Barcelona in the 2010-11 season.
Manchester United were able to finish the game with a goalless draw, with de Gea saving headers from Lenglet, Gabriel Mercado and Muriel.
Football fan and Nollywood A-List actress Uche Jombo Rodriguez posted on Twitter : ''DAVID DE GEA 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥''.
Enyeama retweeted and replied : ''De Gea just made me smile.good goalkeeping an art.''
Including the qualifying rounds, Enyeama has posted 14 shutouts from 48 appearances in European competitions.
In the current season, David de Gea has kept the most clean sheets in all competitions in Europe's top five leagues, 18 in total to place first ahead of Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen and Atlético Madrid's Jan Oblak (17).
