Brighton & Hove Albion 2 Arsenal 1: Iwobi Struggles As Gunners Lose AgainArsenal's shambolic season took yet another tumble on Sunday afternoon as goals from Lewis Dunk and Glenn Murray handed hosts, Brighton a shock 2-1 victory at the Amex Stadium.

Alex Iwobi returned to Arsenal's starting XI after missing out on the 3-0 defeat of Manchester City last time out.

Arsenal were unbeaten in 34 Premier League games against newly promoted coming into this one but Lewis Dunk capitalized on some sort of listless defending from the Gunners defense to put the hosts in front, stabbing home from close range courtesy of an corner delivery and Anthony Knockaert's knock down after just seven minutes of play.

It was 2-0 as Brighton extended their dream lead inside the opening 30 minutes, Shkodran Mustafi gifting Glenn Murray a lot of space to head in past Peter Cech who should have done better to keep it out.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pulled one back for the Gunners just before the break, Granit Xhaka catching out the hosts defense with a quick pass to pick out the Gabonese who flicked past Ryan to make it 2-1

Iwobi, who scored his first goal of the season against the same opponents nearly found a foothold back into the game for his side after the intermission, carving open the hosts defense but his squeezed effort from the left was not enough to beat the goalkeeper.

Wenger threw on Danny Welbeck and 18-year old Edwards Nketiah as the visitors continued rallying to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat in all competition but suffered more frustration, Mesut Ozil seeing his effort on the edge of the box blocked by Bruno after combining with Sead Kolasinac on the 90th minute mark.
