Tottenham Hotspur could not battle from two goals down in the quarterfinal of the UEFA Youth League at Hotspur Way Training Center on Tuesday evening against Porto.
There was big Nigerian interest in the game with Timothy Eyoma and Keanan Bennetts starting for Spurs and defender Isah Musa named in Porto's starting eleven, his teammate Kuku Emmanuel Fidelis was named on the bench.
Musa, who came off the bench against the holders Salzburg in the last sixteen, had an effort on goal eight minutes into the contest before conceding a free-kick for a foul on Bennetts six minutes later.
Skipp put the ball into his own net to give Porto the lead on the half-hour mark before Irala Vera scored to double the advantage on 40 minutes off an assist from Madi Queta.
All the aforementioned players of Nigerian descent that started the game put in a full shift, while Fidelis was a non-playing substitute.
Born March 2, 1999, Musa is a right-back who can also be deployed at left-back, Fidelis is a pacy winger and netted on his debut in the UEFA Youth League against Salzburg U19.
The two players are expected to join Musa Yahaya and Chidera Ezeh in Porto's B Tean next season if they continue to impress for the U19s.
