Super Eagles Star Etebo Misses Las Palmas Training, Travels To Madrid Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Oghenekaro Etebo is awaiting the results of a scan to determine his availability for next Friday's international friendly between Nigeria and Poland at Municipal Stadium in Wrocław.

The versatile midfielder has not trained with the Las Palmas squad throughout this week because of discomfort in the quadriceps which led to his substitution at half-time against Villarreal.

His availability for Saturday afternoon's La Liga match against Deportivo de La Coruña is questionable as he has yet to get the green light from Las Palmas medics to return to training, with only two training sessions left before manager Paco Jémez announces his provisional squad for the trip to Galicia.

Etebo was in the Spanish capital, Madrid, on Tuesday, March 13 and he met with embassy staff over his application for a visa to enter the United Kingdom, where the Super Eagles will face Serbia on March 27.

The 22-year-old has started every single game contested by Las Palmas since he completed a loan move from Portuguese setup CD Feirense.

The former Warri Wolves star is among seven midfielders named by Rohr in a 28-man roster for the friendlies against Poland and Serbia.
