Timmy Abraham, Olayinka Score But Fulham, Arsenal Lose In U18PL
Published: April 07, 2018
Tammy Abraham's younger brother, Timmy, was on target for Fulham but his goal was not enough as the Cottagers lost 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on game week 20 in the U18 Premier League on Saturday.
Fulham were in front in the sixth minute as the former Charlton Athletic striker hit a shot into the bottom right corner.
Shashoua equalized for Spurs before Parrott netted what proved to be the winning goal seven minutes into the second half.
Timmy Abraham, who held talks with Nigerian Federation supremo Amaju Pinnick in London last September, has now tallied 7 goals in all competitions for Fulham this season, six in the U18 Premier League and one in the Premier League Cup.
Elsewhere, but still in the English capital, Arsenal missed a chance to close the gap on leaders Chelsea after they were beaten 3-1 by Leicester City, with James Olayinka finding the net on the hour mark for the home team.
Bukayo Saka, Armstrong Okoflex as well as the goalscorer were named in Arsenal's starting line-up, highly-rated left-back Calvin Ughelumba started for the Foxes in his favorite position.
