Manchester United's Nigerian-born midfielder Tosin Kehinde has been
earmarked for a loan move to a club outside the Premier League to
continue his development next season.
Kehinde has lost his starting spot
since after the international break but a Manchester
United youth-team expert has informed this website that this has nothing
to do with the player pledging his international future to Nigeria over
England last month.
Against Sunderland and Manchester City in
back-to-back matches, the Nigerian has been on the pitch for only 28
minutes from a possible 180.
''I believe that the manager who in my opinion is wrong for the U23s is just experimenting for next season,'' @NewManUtdNews told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''I expect Tosin could get a loan move. But he certainly hasn't done anything wrong in my opinion. Plus the fact they nearly have a fully fit squad so lots of rotation.''
He added : ''Will have nothing to do with Nigeria. And you have Hamilton, as first choice in midfield then there is rotation with Gribbin, Chong, Dearnley, Tosin, Gomes, Whelan, Redmond and Boonen.
''Redmond is back after loan. Gribbin, Chong and Gomes are back from injury so lots of competition.''
Kehinde's only goal for Manchester United across all levels this season, an unstoppable 20-yard shot in the U23s 2-2 draw vs Chelsea, was nominated for Manchester United's Goal of the Month for September.
