Barcelona Show Interest In Signing Manchester United's Nigerian-Born Midfielder?
Published: April 24, 2018
Spanish powerhouse Barcelona are hoping they can lure Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde to the club, according to reports.
Score Nigeria has claimed the Red Devils could lose youngster Tosin Kehinde with mighty Barcelona among for the highly-rated attacking midfielder.
According to the website, there is no confirmation from the midfielder if he wants to remain at Manchester United, as he has yet to reach a financial agreement with the club on the new two-year deal he has been offered.
The 19-year-old has been out of favour at United in the last one month or so, with substitute roles for the U23s in their last three games of the season, fueling speculation that he is not in the plans of manager Ricky Sbragia for next season.
Salzburg, Rapid Vienna, Amiens, Dijon, Mainz, Bochum and Hertha Berlin are the other teams monitoring the situation of Kehinde, with a view to a swoop in the summer transfer window.
The Lagos-born starlet has played non-stop at United for six years but has yet to make his competitive debut for the first team.
He recently opted to represent Nigeria at international level ahead of England, where he was raised.
