Published: June 08, 2018
English Premier League club Manchester United have submitted their retained and released list ahead of the start of preseason preparations.
The official website of the Premier League has informed that Nigerian-born midfielder Tosin Kehinde has been offered a new contract, but it remains to be seen if he would append his signature to the new deal, with his current agreement with the club set to run out at the end of this month.
United States international of Nigerian parentage Matthew Olosunde agreed fresh terms with United in June 2017 and is one of the players retained by the club.
Kehinde has played nonstop at Manchester United for six years, having joined the club at the age of thirteen.
Last season, he made 17 appearances (12 starts) in the Premier League 2, scoring once against Chelsea, a strike which was nominated for Manchester United's Goal of the Month for September.
It is claimed that Barcelona, Salzburg, Rapid Vienna, Amiens, Dijon, Mainz, Bochum and Hertha Berlin
are the teams monitoring the situation of Kehinde, with a view to a
swoop in the summer transfer window.
