The Premier League announced the schedule for the 2018-2019 campaign on Thursday morning, and there are some interesting match-ups involving
players of Nigerian descent on the opening day, August 11, 2018.
Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom will be hoping to be in the Arsenal squad for the visit of defending champions Manchester City, who pay the wages of Lukas Nmecha and Tosin Adarabioyo.
If Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa remain at Leicester City amid reports linking the duo with a summer exit, they are in line to make the match day squad against Manchester United at Old Tafford.
