Nigerian Winger Comes Of Bench To Score On Bristol City Debut
Nigerian starlet Hakeeb Adelakun had a memorable debut for Bristol City, coming off the bench to score in their 4-0 rout of South Gloucestershire side Bitton AFC in their first pre-season game on Sunday, July 8.

The Robins had announced the capture of the 22-year-old from Scunthorpe United on July 2.

In the annual Community Match, Bristol City manager Lee Johnson made 11 changes on the half-hour mark and handed a debut to Adelakun.

Strikes from Matty Taylor and Paterson gave Bristol City a two-goal advantage at half-time before their new signing Adelakun made it 3-0 ten minutes after the restart.

The winger fired past Bitton AFC goalkeeper Worton after meeting a low cross from Pack, he was replaced four minutes after his debut goal for the Championship outfit.

Hakeeb Adelakun previously wore the jerseys of the youth teams of Crystal Palace and West Ham United.
