In-demand Nigerian winger Babajide David has now been directly involved in 9 goals in 16 appearances in the Norwegian topflight after finding the net for FK Haugesund in their 4-2 win over Sandefjord on game week 16 on Sunday evening.
The visitors were two goals up and cruising before the FC Midtjylland loanee halved the deficit in the 64th minute.
David was on target against Bodø/Glimt, Sarpsborg 08, Kristiansund BK and Lilleström SK prior to today's tie at Haugesund Stadion.
He was replaced in the 77th minute while his teammate, midfielder Anthony Ikedi, watched proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game.
Still in Norway, Afeez Aremu, 18, continued his impressive start to his career in Europe with a game-winning goal for IK Start, who came from behind to beat Ohi Omoijuanfo's Stabæk 2-1.
The Nigeria international midfielder struck in the 62nd minute to take his tally to 3 goals in 16 matches.
