Confirmed : Talented Nigerian Winger Joins Premier League New Boys Fulham
Published: July 17, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Premier League new boys Fulham have won the race for the signature of Michael Olakigbe.
Olakigbe, who is a winger by trade, has completed his move to the Cottagers from Queens Park Rangers.
A year ago, the teenager was playing grassroots football at East Soccer Base Academy before he was spotted by Queens Park Rangers and has earned a move to Fulham after working hard behind the scenes.
Though Olakigbe is eligible to represent Nigeria, it is understood that the English Football Association are in the driving seat for his services and the same goes for Ayo Tanimowo, who joined Brighton & Hove from Norwich City this summer.
Last season, Tammy Abraham's sibling, Timmy, was Fulham U18s top scorer in the U18 Premier League with 9 goals in 19 games.
Midfielder Tayo Edun and striker Elijah Adebayo are also on the books of Fulham but the latter is spending the whole of the 2018-2019 campaign on loan at Swindon Town.
