Two Offensive Players Of Nigerian Descent Named In Liverpool Tour Squad, Awoniyi Out

England U20 World Cup-winning stars of Nigerian descent, Dominic Solanke and Sheyi Ojo, have been included in Liverpool squad for their tour of America, informs the official website of the Reds.
As previously reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Nigeria U23 international Taiwo Awoniyi will not be named in the traveling party to the United States and this has been confirmed by the Anfield side.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will monitor the progress of 18-year-old Wales international Ben Woodburn during the three International Cup matches, but has strongly hinted that exciting teenager Bobby Adekanye will not be handed his first-team debut in 2018, with the Ibadan-born winger omitted from the roster.
Ovie Ejaria has completed a season-long loan move to Scottish powerhouse Rangers and has been left out of the squad.
Liverpool will face Borussia Dortmund (July 22) Manchester City (July 26) and Manchester United (July 28) in International Cup matches while in America.
They will visit Charlotte, East Rutherford and Ann Arbor during an eight-day trip.
