Huddersfield Town Star To Wear No. 8 Vs Chelsea; Watford's Success Keeps His Number 10
Published: August 11, 2018Nigerian midfielder Philip Billing will be wearing the number eight jersey today if he takes to the pitch for Huddersfield Town's Premier League opener against former champions Chelsea at John Smith's Stadium.
The Terriers have handed the number eight jersey to Billing for the third consecutive season, he first wore the number during the 2016-2017 campaign.
Billing played with the number 29 kit for three successive seasons before switching to the number eight.
As previously reported Victor Moses and Tammy Abraham will play with the number 15 and 19 for the entirety of this season, if they don't move onto pastures new in the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Watford have made an interesting decision by allowing Super Eagles striker Isaac Success keep his number ten jersey amid speculation linking him with a loan move to Aston Villa.
The former Granada striker will be hoping to make his 20th appearance in the English topflight when the Hornets host Leon Balogun's Brighton & Hove Albion at The Vic this afternoon.
Everton have confirmed that Ademola Lookman will wear the number 31 jersey this term.
