A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, August 11th.
Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.
In the lunchtime kick off at the St. James Park, Newcastle fell to a narrow 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, courtesy of goals which came from Jan Vertoghen and Dele Alli either side of Joselu's effort for the Magpies.
